Obituary of Nicholas Ritz

Nicholas A. Ritz passed away unexpectedly December 10, 2010 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born January 17, 1955 in Lockport he was the son of the late John J. Ritz and Mary (Rosati) Ritz Robillard. Nicholas served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1975, upon returning from service he worked and retired as a laborer at Delphi Thermal System. He was a member of the U.A.W. and competed in the local dart leagues. He also was an avid softball player, playing on various teams in his younger years. Nicholas is survived by his brothers and sisters; Joanna (H. George) Miller, Larry (Anita) Ritz, Joseph (Jennifer Rasp) Robillard all of Lockport and Susan Robillard of Tonawanda, NY. Nicholas was predeceased by his sister Rose Marie (John) Barcer and is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his long time dear friend Angelina Martucci. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM. <h3>Services</h3> A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport.
