Obituary of Duane J. Behm
Duane J. Behm passed away October 7, 2019 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born October 5, 1941 in Lockport he was the son of Elton and Virginia (Werth) Behm. Duane served in the National Guard from 1964 to 1970 and worked at Harrison Radiator Division of GM as a Supervisor in the Metallurgy and Chemical Laboratory for 36 years retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Jaycee’s serving as chairman of the Lockport Satellite for 22 years and was chairman of the Children’s Hospital Telethon. Duane enjoyed hunting and woodworking.
Duane is survived by his wife Sharon (Felton) Behm; sons Darrin (Michelle) Behm and Eric(Anita) Behm; grandfather of Russell and Connor Behm and was the brother of Beverly (James) Penland, Lowell (Wenda) and the late Douglas Behm. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
