Obituary of Michael Alfonso

Michael H. Alfonso passed away October 2, 2019 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born December 22, 1952 in Hammond, Indiana he was the son of Joseph and Carolyn (Erdle) Alfonso.  Michael worked for Johnson Country Store for 25 years where he was  store manager retiring this past April.  He was a member of the Hartland Conservationist Club, and the National Wildlife Turkey Federation.  Michael enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, travel and especially spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his wife, Wanda (Hetherly) Alfonso; children Bradley Alfonso and Michelle (Steven Jarmusz) Alfonso; granddaughter Emma Jarmusz; brother Todd (Jean) Alfonso; in-laws Joleen (Ronald) Guay and Donna Musgrove; nieces and nephews Brandon (Jordan) Alfonso, Kevin (Sue) Guay, Tracy (Mike) Meyer, Denise (Jeff) Pawlik, and Chad (Jessica) Musgrove.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, Oct. 7th from 3-7:30 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
