Obituary of Carol A. Ratajczak
Carol A. Ratajczak passed away August 26, 2019 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born March 18, 1948 in West Seneca, NY she was the daughter of John and Stella (Drabek) Wozniak. Carol graduated from Buffalo State College with duel master’s degree. She taught for 33 years for the Lockport City School District retiring in 2013. Carol was a member of the NYS Retired Teachers Association and the ADK Sorority. She enjoyed gardening her flowers, the slots, playing BINGO, arts and crafts, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband of 50 years, Felix ‘Sonny’ Ratajczak; children Bob (Kim) Ratajczak and Stacey (Bret) Wolter; grandsons Nathan Wolter, Dylan Ratajczak, and Nolan Wolter; brother John (Val) Wozniak; nephew John (Debra) Wozniak; and niece Christina (Nick) Wozniak.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Thursday, August 29th at 12 Noon in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Niagara Hospice or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
