Barbara M. Ahlstrom passed away on August 9, 2019. She was born on January 6, 1943 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of John and Eileen (O’Connor) Meyers.
Barbara was on the Kenan Art Council, an avid reader, loved gardening and spending winters in Florida. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her husband John Ahlstrom, children Jay (Jennifer) Ahlstrom, Carolyn (Justin) Pilarcik , granddaughters Eleanor and Audrey Pilarcik, sister Janet (Dennis) Badame, and sister-in-law Marilee Meyers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her brother John Meyers.
Private services were held by the immediate family. Memorials to South Lockport Fire Department are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
