To the Chamot Family:
Very sorry to hear the sad news that my friend passed away. He was a true gentleman. I went to Law School with Phil. No matter what was going on, he always had a smile on his face and he was happy. He even went out and bought us poor students beers. He had the best jokes, and would always say, "what am I doing here". Our paths were able to cross and he always took the time to ask how I was doing and how was my family. He was a true gentleman that will me missed. He will be in my prayers. Godspeed Captain.

To the Chamot family. I met Phil early in my State Police career. I got to know him and later taught at the State Police Academy with/for him. He was truly a special person. Our careers took different paths and I always enjoyed it when we would run across each other. It's been many years since I last saw him, but he remains a truly exceptional memory for me. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. Jim

Dear Mary Ellen and family...
Phil was a great man. He welcomed our kids into your home with open arms... one of the greatest memories our kids have is making cookies at the Chamot house. Thank you for sharing your lives and love with us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Mr. Chamot at the Pope Law Firm. From the date I started he treated me like he knew me for along time. He was just so kind and thoughtful to the clients staff and others when he met with them. May he rest in Peace

I worked with Phil at the SP Academy back in the 70's. He had a kind gentle soul. I still remember him coming in and telling us about how his daughter was just starting to talk and she'd call out "Philllllll". He was so proud to be a Dad. My thoughts and prayers go out to Phil's family.
