Obituary of William D. Britt

William D. ‘Bill’ Britt joined our Lord suddenly on August 2, 2019.  Born in Newfane May 25, 1937 to the late Thomas and Frances (nee Boudin) Britt.  He was a graduate of Newfane High School excelling in basketball.  Bill enjoyed sports and vintage Cadillac cars.  He was employed for 24 years with Simmons Saw & Steel.  Bill was a member of All Saints Parish and enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, and morning coffee with friends at Tim Hortons.  He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Diane (nee Burlinghoff), his siblings  Marcia Porter, Mary (John) Forsyth, Franklin (Lucille) Britt, his brother-in-law of Robert K. Anderson, his nephews Thomas J. Forsyth and David R. Forsyth, and his great nephews William L. Reabold and Jared J. Forsyth.

Bill is survived by his sister Elizabeth Anderson of Lockport; also several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association, 4955 North Bailey Ave., #217, Amherst, NY 14226 or to the United Cerebral Palsy Association, 7 Community Drive, Buffalo, NY 14218 would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
