Obituary of Evelyn McGovern

Evelyn B. McGovern passed away December 2, 2010 in Absolut of Gasport Health care Facility. Born July 15, 1923 in Lockport she was the daughter of James and Catherine (Purtell) McKeever. She was predeceased by her husband Myron McGovern in 1973. Evelyn is survived by her son James (Sally) McGovern Sr. of Lockport; grandmother of James (Lori) McGovern, Jr., Andrew (Paula) McGovern and MaryAnn McGovern; great grandmother of Jashua, Alyssa, Taylor, Megan and James; great-great grandmother of Adriana Ann; sister of LeRoy (Shirley) McKeever, Edison (JoAnn) McKeever, Elizabeth Brauer, Vivian Pearson, Geraldine Adams and the late Dorothy Pompas, Catherine Brandenburg, Gladys Bascom and James McKeever; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, December 3rd 3-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4th at 10 AM.
