Obituary of Janie C. Regester

Please share a memory of Janie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Janie Carol (Alberter) Regester passed away on Tuesday, July 23rd, she was born in Lockport on October 16, 1956 to Rita and Harry Alberter. She graduated from Roy-Hart Central School in 1974 and received her degree in business from Bryant and Stratton. Janie worked in several local businesses doing clerical work, but especially enjoyed teaching kindergarten at Faith Christian School.

She had a deep affection for her cats through the years and loved to sing. Faith Tabernacle Church was like her family and you could often hear her playing percussion during the worship songs.

Janie leaves behind her husband, David Regester, her mother, Rita Alberter and her brother, Daniel (Sandee) Alberter. She was a special aunt to her nephews; Joshua (Sarah) Alberter of Newfane, Jeremy (Diana) Alberter of Pittsburgh, and Jedidiah (Amanda) Alberter of Newfane and their families.

She loved her family and will be missed by many, but we will see her again because of our faith in Jesus Christ and the heaven He has prepared for us.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at Faith Tabernacle Church Sunday, August 11th at 3:00 PM.

Donations gratefully received on behalf of Janie to the Diabetes foundation.

Please go to www.pruddenandkandt.com and leave a condolence for the family.
