Obituary of Mary E. Shaver
Mary Elizabeth Shaver went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2019. Born May 14, 1929 in Lockport, Mary was the eldest daughter of Robert and Irene (Murphy) Sharkey. She attended St. Joseph's Academy. For the last twenty years, she was under the loving care of the staff at Absolut Care of Gasport. Mary will be remembered for her sense of humor and her gentle spirit.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, her sister, Kathryne Sharkey, and brother-in-law John Daly. Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna (Robert) White, of Lockport, three grandsons: Robert (Trish) White of Houston, Texas, Daniel (Ana) White of Rosenberg, Texas, and Joel White of Lockport. Mary is also survived by her seven great grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathaniel, Joshua, Thomas, Diana, Katherine and Regina White. She is also survived by her sister, Joan Daly, of Tonawanda and four nieces.
A private memorial will be held by the family. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
