Obituary of Alfred S. Mermon
Alfred S. Mermon passed away at the age of 87 on June 12, 2019 in Eastern Niagara Hospital after a short illness. Alfred served in the US Army from 1951 to 1954 being awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for General Motors in Buffalo in production retiring March 1, 1991.
Al will be forever remembered by his children Susan Adams (late Jim), Jeffrey Mermon (Beverly), Carol Menapace (Bernie), Sharri Kingsbury, 12 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport from 10:30 am – 12 pm. Funeral service at 12 pm. Internment to immediately follow at Cold Springs Cemetery. Please join the family for a luncheon at 2:00 pm at The Fieldstone Country Inn 5986 S. Transit Rd. Lockport, N.Y 14094.
