Obituary of David M. Laubacker
David M. Laubacker passed away May 21, 2019. Born June 13, 1945 in Lockport he was the son of Albert and Evelyn (Rohr) Laubacker. David served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967 and worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM for 35 years where he was a serviceman, retiring October 1, 1999. He was a member of the UAW 686 Retirees, also St. John the Baptist RC Church, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, and going to the park. David was predeceased by his daughter Julie Laubacker.
David is survived by his two sons Kevin (Michelle) Laubacker and Jeffrey Laubacker; grandchildren Alex, Nicholas, Krista, and Kellen Laubacker; siblings Thomas Laubacker, James Laubacker, Wayne (Lynn) Laubacker, Nancy (Robert) Felton, and late Rosemary (Larry) Wills; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 27th from 1-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 28th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
