JoAnn (Congelli)Yasses 50, of Lewis Center, passed away at Riverside Hospital on Thursday, November 18, 2010, with her Loving family by her side. Jo was born in Tucson, AZ on July 7, 1960 to Linda (Van Order) and the Late Robert P. Congelli. Jo and her family moved back to Lockport, NY in the late 1960's where she grew up and graduated from Lockport Senior High School class of '78. After high school she worked for several different companies building her career in helping others. Fun loving, and a founding member of the "Over 50 Cowbell Band,"Jo could be found singing and dancing to her favorite Jon BonJovi or Bonnie Raitt song pretending to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader while vacuuming and cleaning the house. Laughing was her forte, Dave always tried to make her laugh at least once every day, "it was pretty easy" he said, especially when she had a Grand Marnier. Jo will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Jo's survivors include her husband David of Lewis Center, Sara(Eric) Kager of NY, Jason Minderler of NY, Lindsey Minderler of Lewis Center, and Zachary Yasses of Lewis Center; Grandmother of Kendyl " Bean"; Mother Linda Congelli of NY; sister of John (Angela) Congelli of NC, MaryKay (Daniel) Kirsch of NY and Edward (Debra) Congelli of NY.
