Obituary of Marilyn D. Lieb

Marilyn D. Lieb passed away May 6, 2019 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born May 1, 1931 in Lockport she was the daughter of Harold and Florence (Gritzmacher) Mosher.  Marilyn worked for Akron central School District where she was a custodian.  She lived in the both the Akron and Wolcottsville areas for several years with her family.  Marilyn was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Newfane where she volunteered with the churches “Clothes Closet”.  She also belonged to the Barker Senior Citizen Center, the Wolcottsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she was active with the Fireman Parade & Picnics.  Marilyn enjoyed gardening, camping, and dancing.  She was predeceased by her husband whom she married June 2, 1951, LaVerne Lieb who passed away in 2006.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter Mary (Stanley) Johnson and also several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings Donald  Mosher, Shirley Harper, Harold Mosher and Norma Smith.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, May 9th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, May 10th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.  Memorial donations to First Baptist Church of Newfane, 6047 East Ave., Newfane, NY 14108 would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com
