Obituary of James "Jim" W. Kolbe
James “Jim” William Kolbe age 72, entered into rest on Thursday April 11th 2019 at home. Born in North Tonawanda, James is the son of the late Herbert and Lillian (Martin) Kolbe.
Jim was a graduate of Barker Central School. He went on to work for the Barker School District. Jim was involved with the FFA throughout school. He always had a great interest and love toward nature, exemplified best through his care for his pet geese.
He is survived by siblings Herbert (Late Florence) Kolbe, Sandra (Edward)Barry and Nancy (Tony) Barrett. Nieces and Nephews Christine (George) Waters, Jeffrey (Anne) Kolbe, Susan (Robert Jr) Haley, Kimberly (Jarrod) Fritton, Corey (Michelle) Barry, Lisa (Aaron) Noble and Todd (Katie) Prynn.
There will be no prior visitation or services as that is the way that Jim wanted it as his body was donated to UB.
A donation can be made to Ub fund for Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
