Obituary of Allen G. Olear
Allen George Olear, 73, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, passed away March 8, 2019 at his residence after a short period of declining health. Allen was born in Niagara County, NY, on September 8, 1945 to the late Alfred Franklin Olear and Evelyn Roberts Olear. Allen worked for many years in the family's oil business. During his life he spent 20 years as an active member of Terry's Corners Volunteer Fire Company and a was a lifetime member of the NRA. Allen enjoyed spending any time he could with his family and outdoors, especially hunting.
In addition to his parents, Allen is predeceased by a brother, Gerald Olear.
Allen is survived by his wife, Geneva Ogledzinski Olear; a son, Marc (Angie Sedberry) Olear; a daughter, Heather (Christopher) Pratt; and a granddaughter, Morgan Pratt.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday April 27th at 1 PM at the Terry’s Corners Volunteer Fire Co., 7801 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Gasport, NY 14067.
