Obituary of Lynne R. Penna
Lynne Rose Penna passed away April 13, 2019 in Niagara Hospice House. Born July 27, 1950 in Lockport she was the daughter of Stephen L. and Helen (Kane) Dempsey. Lynne started working for Lockport Savings Bank in 1991 and retired in 2015 as an Operations Support Specialist from First Niagara Bank. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Lynne was predeceased by her husband Michael R. Penna and son Todd M. Penna
Lynne is survived by her two sons, Joshua M. (Melissa) and Courey P.(Carrie) Penna; three grandchildren Alena, Emma, and Courey W.; siblings S. Douglas (Sherry) Dempsey and Molly (Richard) Glaser; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Half sibling to Marilyn Whitwell and L. James Dempsey (deceased).
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, June 8th at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St., Lockport. Memorial donations to the First Presbyterian Church Bell Choir in the name of Beatrice R. Fraser would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers.
