Obituary of Russell Gloger

Russell H. Gloger passed away November 18, 2010 at the age of 88. He was born in Lockport December 23, 1921 and was the son of the late Arthur and Alba (Flint) Gloger. Russell is survived by his beloved wife Isabel (VanHorn) Gloger whom he married on April 15, 1944. He is also survived by his daughter Susan (William) Brucker of Phelps, NY and his son Van R. Gloger of Hartland. Russell has four grandchildren Timothy Gloger of Gasport, Melissa Brucker of Phelps, NY, Arthur (Suzanne) Brucker of Clifton Springs, NY and Tonnya (Brandon) Archambeault of Williamsville. He is the great grandfather of Gracie Elizabeth Brucker and Hayden Arthur Brucker both of Clifton Springs, NY. Russell joined the Wright Corners Presbyterian Church on March 25, 1956 and served as the head usher for five years and was a trustee. Russell was the owner/operator of Gloger Gravel, was a trucker and ran his dairy farm. He was a member of the Town of Newfane and Hartland Historical Society's.
