I was a cheerleader at Hastings College (in Nebraska) with "New York" aka Sally. She was a fun and vivacious friend and I absolutely loved her. She taught us all cheers and we had a great time preparing for games and getting together afterward. I was happy to reconnect via FaceBook and had hoped to come see her in the next year or two. I am so saddened to lose her from this side of life, much too soon. God's peace to her wonderful family and many, many friends.

Sally was an amazing woman. I met her about five years ago when I started attending her oil painting class. She has taught me so much and helped me grow as an artist and a person. Sally and all of the good she has done will be missed, but never forgotten.
