Obituary of Elaine Serdensky

Elaine Calos Serdensky passed away October 11, 2010 in the Vernon Manor Nursing Home in Vernon, CT. Born in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Stephanous and Elizabeth (nee Mumulos) Calos. Elaine was a graduate of Lockport Senior High School. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of South Windsor and volunteered as a library aide. Elaine enjoyed doing arts and crafts especially ceramics and painting. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Serdensky March 25, 2006.
Elaine is survived by her children John (Joan) Serdensky of Canton, MA, Robert (Susan) Serdensky of Middletown, MD and Jane Serdensky of South Windsor, CT; grandmother of Julie (Alan) Forrest of Hillsboro, NC, Janice (Ken) Vaughn of Olive Branch, MS, Anastasia Serdensky, Evan Serdensky both of Middletown, MD, Jillian Banning of Cheshire, CT and Thomas Banning of South Windsor, CT; great grandmother of five; sister of James (Dottie) Calos of Lockport and the late Anthony Calos; sister-in-law of Hazel Calos of Lockport; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11 AM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Internment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
