Obituary of Donald William Few
Bill's life ended peacefully at Niagara Hospice in Lockport on January 7, 2019. Born in Lockport, NY on February 25, 1941, he was the son of the late C. Donald Few and Loraine Wendel Few. He was a Project Control Coordinator at Harrison Radiator Div. Of GM and gave 33 years of service. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting in the Southern Tier. In later years he spent time as a Marina Attendant at Widewaters in Lockport. As a member of his church choir and a charter member of the Lock City Glee Club, his love of music was evident. In the past he served as Warden and Vestry member at his church, and was on the board of the Niagara County Historical Society for many years. He was a member of the Town of Lockport Planning Board during the time of the planning of the new Lockport Walmart.
Married for 55 years he is survived by his wife Patricia Ott Few, sons William Bradley, Jeffrey (Tricia) and daughter Elizabeth LaForme (Joe), grandchildren Samantha, Christopher and Daniel, brothers Gary (Pat M. Few) and Richard (Linda) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home on Friday, January 11th from 4-7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 11 am at Christ Episcopal Church, Rochester Rd. & Fieldcrest Dr. in Lockport.
