Obituary of Rose M. Bridwell
Rose Mary (Albanese) Bridwell passed away December 30, 2018 in Niagara Hospice House. Born June 28, 1920 in Albion, NY she was the daughter of Sarafino and Maria Albanese who immigrated from the Calabria region of Italy. Rose met her husband, Jack while he was in the US Army unit working the orchards of Orleans County before he was shipped to Europe during WW II, he predeceased her on February 1, 2000. She was involved with Ridgeview Homes Mobile Home Park which she co-owned for 50 years. Rose enjoyed landscaping and gardening and was a founding member of the Kenan Center Herb Club.
Rose is survived by her children Jack (Johndolyn), Richard, Rosemary, Susan (Dave Bailey) Schiferle, and late William; grandchildren Richard and late Robin; predeceased by eight siblings; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, Jan. 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 5th at 10 AM in St. Brendan On The Lake RC Church, 3455 Ewings Rd., Newfane. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
