Obituary of Daniel Sennett

Daniel A. Sennett went to "baseball heaven" November 14, 2010 at Buffalo General Hospital. Known by himself and his friends as the "greatest baseball player of all time", was born September 27, 1946 in Lockport, he was the son of the late John and JoAnn (Bush) Sennett. Dan worked at Harrison in production. Born and bread Yankee and Buffalo Bills fan, he played all sports, baseball being his favorite, he played for 30 years in the Celebrity League on several teams; Rose's, Eagle's, Attitudes and Porky's Bar & Grill. He also bowled in the Sportsman League. Dan was a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen and also cooked turkeys every Thanksgiving for the Niagara Hotel.
He is survived by his wife Karen (Enzinna) Sennett; father of Danny Rae Sennett, Nathaniel Stanley and Becky Crafts all of Lockport and the late Jonathan Sennett; grandfather of Keith. He is also survived by his sister Becky R. (the late James) Bayne.
Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
