Obituary of Mahala Ainsworth

Mahala M. Ainsworth passed away November 10, 2010 in Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center. Born August 15, 1918 in Lockport she was the daughter of Charles and Mae (Elliott) Robison. Mahala was a nutritionist with Niagara County and she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and was an excellent cook. She was predeceased by her husbands Frank Jago and Richard Ainsworth.
Mahala is survived by her daughter Nancy (Late, Edward) Bowes of Lockport; grandmother of David Bowes, Kevin (Jackie) Bowes, Carol Hofert and Brian Bowes; great grandmother of David (Kayla), Jr., Erin, Kyle, Samantha, Kelsey, Kayla, Ashley, Masen Bowes and Stephanie Hofert; great-great grandmother of Brennan and Brylie Bowes; sister of the late Gerald Robison and Mildred Kubeja; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will be in Orangeport Cemetery. Please visit www.pruddenandkandt.com to leave an online condolence to the family.
