Clarita ‘Dotty’ Calos died peacefully October 28, 2018.  Born April 3, 1924 in Lockport, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth ‘Bessie’ Moran.  She was employed at Harrison Radiator and the Lockport Chamber of Commerce.  She was an avid golfer and scored two hole-in-ones.  She was a member of the Home Bureau, St. John’s Mothers Club, and various bridge clubs.

Dotty married James S. Calos on August 24, 1946, he predeceased her in 2014.  She is survived by her three children Linda (Thomas) harper, James (Nancy) Calos, and Thomas (Anne) Calos; five grandchildren Christopher (Candace) Harper, David (Kim) Calos, Michael Calos, Andrew (Meredith) Calos, and Megan (John) Granchelli; and eight great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a brother, Msgr. Thomas Moran, a sister, Shirley Nagel; and several nieces and nephews.  Dotty was predeceased by two sisters Mary Beth O’Neal and Virginia Tracey.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, Nov. 2nd from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Donations to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228 or at www.cancer.org would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com
