Obituary of Marshall G. Fitch

Marshall G. Fitch passed away October 21, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born March 11, 1929 in Batavia he was the son of Elmer and Ada (Shamp) Fitch.  He served in the US Air Force from 1946 to 1947 and worked for Lockport Felt where he was a supervisor retiring in 1980.  Marshall enjoyed woodworking, and his many years of OTR trucking with his wife.  He was predeceased by his wife Jean (Moore) Fitch on August 29, 2014.  Also predeceased by brothers Leonard, Blaine, and Roland Fitch and sister Dorothy Thompson; great-great grandson Jaxson R. Kenyon.

Marshall is survived by his three children Douglas (Roxanne) Fitch, Craig (Mary) Fitch, and Marsha Fitch; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great-great grandsons; siblings Donald (Jane) Fitch, Barbara (late Russell) Corbett, and Alice Babcock; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Oct. 25th from 10 AM – 12 Noon and 5-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 26th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com
