Obituary of Antoinette Cecelia Parada

Antoinette “Toni” Cecelia Stevens Parada passed away on Sunday October 21, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport.  Born in Lockport on May 17, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Saeva Stevens.  Toni was a Beautician for many years, in her shop Ma Chere on Walnut Street.  After she retired from the salon, Toni worked as the Activities Director for Lockport Presbyterian Home.  She was in the Mother’s Club and was involved in the PTA while her sons were growing up.  She also volunteered a lot of her time at DeSales Catholic School.  Toni enjoyed golfing, doing crafts and spending time with her family.

 

Toni is survived by her husband of 45 years, Anthony Parada; her sons, Eric and Marc Parada and her granddaughter Emma Parada.  She is also survived by several brother and sister inlaws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Friends may call on Wednesday October 24th 3-8 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Oct. 25th at 10 AM at All Saints RC Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport.  Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Albion, NY.   In Lieu of flowers memorials to Lockport Presbyterian Home, would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
