My Condolences to the Menard Family
I wish to express my condolences to her Five Sons and the Husband Paul.
We spoke last in 2015-2016 about a US Army Reunion. She called Paul from the Yard into the House. One of their Sons was going to be married on Reunion Weekend.
Hopefully Christine and Paul would have joined us - the Lukasic's and the Martin at Fort Bragg.
Sorry for your loss.

I was honestly too young to realize how much it hurts to lose the one you spent almost half your life with if not more than that. I guess in some way, I was like the daughter she never had but in a whole new generation. My grandmother loved me and her family a lot, and I wish we could have had more time with her. I wish she were here for the big moments of our lives like when we moved houses, and I moved schools. I especially wish she were here for my grade now, sixth grade. Some of the biggest moments happened during the year. May she rest in peace, and may she always be in our hearts. This was a late response due to how young I was when she passed.

My grandma was a loving, caring, supportful person, she did not need to leave us yet, to her brothers and sisters, the loss hit us all i know it hit you guys too, you should have visited us but that's ok!iwas broken thats how you could tell me and my grandma Christine Menard were close. I was there at the funeral, i broke down crying but no matter what she will always be remembered and in our hearts this was very sad for the whole family and family friends. https://s3.amazonaws.com/skins.funeraltechweb.com/tribute-gestures/v2/cross.png

Chris was a wonderful friend to our family for over 30 years. She was the kindest and gentlest soul. She was so caring toward my mother. She lovingly card for Paul for several years. And what a proud and doting grandma she was to Brooke!! Her eyes always lit up when she spoke of Brooke! And when Brooke came to visit ,it made her whole day!! We will miss her in our little neighborhood! She would decorate her little yard for every season and the schoolkids on the bus (as well as us old kids in the neighborhood)would look forward to seeing the festive decorations of the season. She was quite a little lady and she made a difference in the lives of all she touched.Chris we love you and we will miss you!
