Obituary of Mary M. Sippel
Mary Margaret Sippel of Wilson, New York passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. Born January 27, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Sena.
Mary grew up in Chautauqua County. She graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in elementary education and later received her Master’s degree in Education from Niagara University. She was a third grade teacher at Newfane Elementary for many years, retiring in 2007.
Mary is survived by her husband of 45 years, William and three sons, Brett (Melissa) of Younstown, NY; Kevin (Kathy) of Grand Island and Ty (Kerry) of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren Josephine and Lincoln of Youngstown; Katie and Riley of Grand Island; and Cooper and Wyatt of Austin. In addition she is survived by two sisters, Jeanne (Patrick) Rice and Suzanne (Lynn) Hartley all of Ashville, NY along with several nephews and a niece.
At Mary’s request there will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday September 15th At 10 AM at St. Bernard RC Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown. Donations may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
