Obituary of James E. McDonald
James E. McDonald passed away August 12, 2018 after a long illness. Born February 19, 1960 in Newfane he was the son of Carrie McDonald and Paul Shellman. James worked for WNY Energy in medina, NY where he was a cook operator. He enjoyed wrestling, fixing cars with his brother, basketball, football, was a fan of the Miami Dolphins, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
James is survived by his longtime companion Darlene Ross; children Cierra McDonald, James McDonald, Jr., Paul McDonald, Jamey McDonald, Jasmine Ross, and Jayde McDonald; eight grandchildren; siblings Ernestine Shellman, Paul Shellman, Jr., Corrine Hall, Karen Elias, Arlene McDonald, Clarence Shellman, Arthur Shellman, and late Eva Shellman, and Dorothy McDonald; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 16th from 10 AM – 12 Noon with services at 12 Noon in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
