Obituary of Donald Cutter
Donald F. Cutter passed away August 2, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born March 2, 1932 in Lockport he was the son of late Morris Cutter and late Ruth Mosure Cutter. He attended Lockport Elementary Schools and graduated from Lockport High School. Don worked several years for Hill-Shardon Oil as driver and furnace technician and 27 years at Harrison Radiator GMC, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, family activities and bowling with the Lockport Retirees at Allie Brandts. Don was active with the "Stingrays" Swim Team at the YMCA during the 70's & 80's, was a "Jack of all Trades" loved fixing things and helping family and friends. He was a member of All Saints Parish, Lockport.
Don is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Rundio, whom he married July 20, 1957 at St. Patrick's Church; father of Steven (Linda), Thomas (Paula Horvatitis), and Timothy Cutter; grandfather of Derek (Virginia) Cutter, Michael (Melissa Chaffee) Cutter, Courtney Cutter, Leah Cutter, Timothy (Holly) Troxell, Anthony (Erin) Cole, and Timothy Boyd; great-grandfather of ten; brother of Ruth (Victor) Trombitas, Joan (late Joe) Humbert, late Norman (Cheryl), Robert, Neoma (Bill) Chandler and Rowland ‘Skip’(Janet) Cutter; brother-in law of Joseph (Beverly) Rundio; special uncle of Joseph (Sandra) Rundio and Daniel (Judy) Cutter, and several other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Aug. 5th from 1-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 6th at 12 Noon in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
