Obituary of Irene Serusa
Irene D. Serusa passed away August 2, 2018 in Harris Hill Nursing Facility. Born August 6, 1930 in Lockport she was the daughter of Alfred and Hazel (Penwright) Alvord. Irene enjoyed life, music, dogs, cats, butterflies, being around people, reminiscing the good old days, and especially being with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Carl F. Serusa on December 12, 1995.
Irene is survived by her children Leonard Serusa, Carla (Thomas) Hart, and Renee (Jonas) Diaz; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; siblings Alma Meiklejohn, Marion Bartholomew, and late Norma Balon and Edward Alvord, Sr.; also several nieces, nephews, and best friend Nero the puppy.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, August 6th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Hartland central Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
