Obituary of Thomas L. White
Thomas “Whitey” White went to his Heavenly home to be with his Savior on August 2, 2018. Tom was born in Lockport on August 18, 1945 to Alvin T. and Ellen M. (Felstead) White. Tom was in the United States Air Force from 1953 until November 1967 and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. Tom had a great love for hunting, fishing, and being in the great outdoors.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Donna E. (White) Day and Marilyn S, (White) Talbot (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tom leaves two step-daughters whom he loved dearly, Stephanie A. Henning of Lockport and Sara R. Henning of Colorado Springs, CO. He also leaves behind several best friends.
At Tom’s request there will be no calling hours and a private military burial will take place at the convenience of the family in North Ridge Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Niagara Hospice for their compassionate care in Tom’s final days.
