Obituary of Ann DiNicolantonio
Ann (DiMillo) DiNicolantonio entered into eternal life on July 20, 2018. Born May 12, 1932 in Roccamorice, Italy, she was the daughter of Augustino and Palma (DiNardo) DiMillo. A longtime resident of Lockport, she had been residing with her daughter in Sacramento, CA the past two years.
Ann graduated from Lockport Senior High School and also attended St. Joseph’s Academy. She was a devout Catholic and as a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church taught religious education classes for many years. She was also an active member of the Bishop’s Committee for Christian Home & Family. Her passion for women’s fashion was fulfilled during her twenty year employment with the Sample Inc. Ann’s lifelong love for learning also led her to receive a real state license where upon she was an associate for Carriage Reality.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Ronald DiNicolantonio, Sr. Together they enjoyed wintering in Naples, FL. Above all, Ann loved being a devoted homemaker spending countless hours preparing gourmet meals and desserts for her family and friends. She was happiest in a social setting and enjoyed telling stories and making others laugh.
Dear mother of Maria Sauer of Sacramento, CA, Frank (Carol) DiNicolantonio and Ron (Tracey) DiNicolantonio, Jr. both of Lockport; beloved grandmother of seven precious grandsons Joseph (Beth), James (Megan), Christian, Ryan, Jared, Paul, and Kyle; great grandmother of cherished great grandchildren Alexander, Emmalyn, Jacob, and Ella; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Anthony and Angelo DiMillo and her sister Maria Santini.
Family will receive relatives and friends Friday, August 3rd from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 4th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Private entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
