Obituary of Marion Spring

Marion L. Spring of Lockport passed away Saturday October 30th, 2010 in Erie County Medical Center. Born December 29, 1937 in Lockport, she is the daughter of the late Loren and Doris (Fry) Dietz. Marion retired from Harrison Radiator Div. of G.M. in 1997 after thirty years, working as a assembler. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing BINGO, bowling and trips to the casino and also was a member of the UAW Retiree's. Marion is the wife of Roy Spring; mother of Guy Spring and Diana Spring both of Lockport; sister of Alvin Dietz of Lockport, Evelyn (Mike Wilson) Haseley of Burt, NY, Lester Dietz and Barbara (Dave O'Donnell) McKay both of Olcott, NY and the late David Dietz. Marion is also survived by several nieces and nephews and beloved friend of Francis Sahr. Friends may call Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
