Obituary of Arthur Bascom

Arthur Oliver Bascom passed away suddenly October 24, 2010 in Orchard Manor, Medina. Born December 1, 1920 in Lockport he is the son of Arthur and Wanda (Schuck) Bascom. Arthur served in US Navy from 1942 to 1945 in WW II and again in 1950 to 1952 in the Korean War. He worked at Harrison Radiator where he was a Foreman for 35 years retiring ob October 1, 1971. Arthur was predeceased by his wife Gladys (McKeever) Bascom in 1992. Arthur is survived by his children Arthur (Dorothy) Bascom of Ocala, FL, Patricia (John) Landon of Albion and Sharon (Carey) Bloomington of Gasport; grandfather of Arthur, Kevin, Darren, Michael Bascom, Katie Biggie, Heather (Robert) Parsell, Michael Collopy, William, Raymond Elson, Colleen Young and Christine (Stephen) Zaranek and the late Robert Collopy; several great grandchildren; brother of the late Marshall Bascom; several nieces, nephews and companions Hunter and Shadow. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 3-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery.
