Obituary of Michael C. Aitchison
Michael Charles Aitchison went home to be with the Lord on Monday May 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Weston, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of Charles and Marion Gillies Aitchison and step son of Carol Aitchison. Mike owned and operated his small engine repair business, Aitchison Power Products, in Hartland, he enjoyed his work and chatting with his customers. Mike was a man of integrity and courage. He enjoyed farming, his work and spending time with his family and was a member of the Chapel at Crosspoint. Mike loved sharing his faith and loved his Lord most of all. “The Joy of the Lord is My Strength!” Nehemiah 8:10.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Joy (née Brereton) Aitchison; dear father of Sharon (Stefan Brand) Walker, Stephen (Alison) Aitchison, Bethany (Nick) Kish, Joanna (Sir James Hagen) Aitchison and Luke Aitchison. Mike is also survived by his precious grandchildren. Mike was the brother of Geoffrey Aitchison and Debbie (Wally) Simpson and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday may 31st 7-9 PM and Friday June 1st 2-4 and 7-9 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday Morning June 2nd at 10 AM at the Chapel at Crosspoint 500 Crosspoint Pkwy, Getzville, NY 14068. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
