Obituary of Marjorie T. Hicks

Marjorie ‘Marge’ T. Hicks passed away suddenly May 16, 2018.  Born April 2, 1936 in Lockport she was the daughter of Blake ‘Steve’ and Jennie (Scalzo) Moran.  Marge earned her bachelors degree in nursing and worked for St. Clare Manor in Lockport as the Director of Nursing and retired from Absolut of Gasport in Royalton where she was a Supervisor.  She enjoyed going to lunch with her friends and classmates.  Marge was predeceased by her husband Patrick Hicks on January 29, 2016.

Marge is survived by her children Timothy (Linda) Hicks, Patrick Hicks, Jr., Susan Hicks Borner, Catherine Hicks, and Kevin Hicks; grandchildren Gerald ‘Buddy’ Olaf, III, Melissa, Joey Borner, Ben, Lily Hicks, Patrick ‘PJ’, Hunter, and Blake Hicks; great granddaughter Juliet Borner; sister of late MaryJo (Jim) Stevenson; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, May 20th from 1-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 21st at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
