Cody and I live together for around 2 years. He was a kind hearted person and helped me come to terms with who I am as a human being. He’d lend you an ear or a place to stay if it was needed. I’m sorry for all of his family members and other friends of Cody for their loss.

I only briefly met Cody and never got to know him. However, I’m sure he was a fine young man because he was my granddaughter’s choice for a boyfriend. May he rest in peace with our Lord.

Cody was just an acquaintance of mine in high school, but I still remember him from my 10th grade math class and the Kenan Soccer team. And what I remember most of him from those times was his great laugh and smile. I am so deeply sorry.

As his step sister, Cody was always welcoming, fun and kind to my brother, Kyle, my husband, Will, and I. He will be extremely missed and always loved. We may have not seen him as much as we would have liked but he was always considered a Brother
