Obituary of Betty A. Pedley
Betty A. Pedley passed away April 28, 2018 in Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. Born September 9, 1922 in Lockport she was the daughter of Earl Pedley and Julia (Grose) Pedley and the sister of the late Weldon “Skip” (late Lottie) Pedley. Betty worked as a telephone operator for NY Telephone in Lockport for over 35 years. She was a member of Lockport United Church of Christ, Lockport Chorale and Ecumenical Choir, Red Hats (Canal Cuties), Telephone Pioneers of America, and the Dale Association.
Betty is survived by her niece Betty (late Alex) Derkasch and Larry (Donna) Listek; also several great nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, May 4th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5th at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to Niagara County SPCA or Salvation Army or Lockport United Church of Christ would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
