Obituary of Edward J. Haley, Jr.

Edward Joseph Haley Jr. “Chick” passed away on April 3rd, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport.  Born in Lockport on February, 3rd 1929, he was the son of the late Edward & Emma (Schultz) Haley.  Chick was a graduate of Lockport High School, and served his country in the United States Navy from 1948 until 1952.  He was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Lockport.  He retired from Harrison Radiator GM.

 

Edward was the father of Cindy Tennyson, Sandy Harrington and Cheryl Rambaud; Stepfather of Larry O’Keefe, Merlyn Roggow, preceded by Maureen Fraiser.  He was blessed with eight grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.  He is also survived by his sisters, Phyllis Killion, Mary & Mike Farina, Jean Rosenbeck and predeceased by Joyce Wiseman, Charles Haley, Thomas Haley.

 

Friends may call on Sunday April 8th 3-5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  Memorials to the Niagara County Ofc-The Aging, 111 Main St Ste 101, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family.  Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
