Mary M. Newman passed away April 2, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born August 15, 1936 in Lockport she was the daughter of David and Mabel (O’Hearn) Smith.  Mary worked for the Presbyterian Home in Lockport where she was a resident care aide.  She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Newman on October 28, 2011.

Mary is survived by daughters Brenda (Scott) Huntington, Karen (Sal) Gaglione, and Jeanne Reinhardt; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; siblings John Smith and late Joseph Smith, James Smith and Ann Degan; several nieces, nephews, and best friend Julie Kramp.
