Obituary of Theresa A. Kearns

Theresa A. Kearns passed away peacefully surrounded by her family March 8, 2018 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Lockport September 3, 1964 she was the daughter of Kathy (Crane) Rucci and the late Joseph Rucci.

Theresa worked as a waitress for many years, most recently at the Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown. She was an exceptional waitress and was loved by her customers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and the hens.

Theresa is survived by her beloved mother, Kathy ‘Katie’ Rucci; her loving husband Edward Kearns her sons Michael and Sean Kearns both of Lockport and grandson Lucas Kearns who was the light of her life. Sister of Daniel P. (Teresa) Rucci, Richard E. (Anne) Rucci and Sheryl Rucci. She was predeceased by her brother Michael J. Rucci. Theresa is also survived by her mother in-law Peggy Kearns; her in-laws Michael (Rhonda) Kearns, Roxane (David) Kern, Joseph (Teresa) Kearns, Patrick (Debbie) Kearns and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, March 13th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 14th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.  Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  Donations to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P.O.
