Carol Ann Behe, age 70, of Lockport left us to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 28,
2010. She made her transition to heaven peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born at home on the family farm in Lewiston, NY on July 7, 1940, Carol was the daughter of the late Julius and Marie (Rosseau) Budde. She grew up in Lockport attending local schools and graduated from Lockport High in 1959. On September 5, 1959, Carol was united in marriage to Charles A. Behe, celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary last year. God blessed this union with three children; Cheryl (Stuart) Briggs, Shirley (Richard) Behe-Richter and Charles "Gus" (Jacqueline) Behe.
Her pride and joy were her grandchildren J. Scott (Tammy) Schultz, Julie (Anthony) Tapp, Charlynn Richter, Amanda (Anthony) Molina, Damien Fuller, Sydney and Jacob Behe, and treasured her great grandchildren Zachary Schultz, Anthony Tapp Jr., Sheridan and Joseph Molina. Carol will forever be remembered by her devoted brothers Raymond (Patricia) Budde of Hawaii and Charles (Marilynn) Budde of Lockport, loving sister Marjorie (Donald) Nayman of Lockport; several nieces, nephews and Godchildren. She is predeceased by sisters-in-law Bernice Budde and Eileen Budde. Carol is also survived by her mother-in-law Frieda Behe of Medina.
