Obituary of Dorothy Budde Frehsee

Dorothy Ludemann Budde Frehsee passed away September 20, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born April 4, 1913 in Lockport she was the daughter of Sylvester and Harriet (Arlington) Ludemann. Dorothy was married to Erwin W. Budde on September 7, 1940 and he passed away January 21, 1947. She then married Donald A. Frehsee September 15, 1951; Dorothy was a secretary for Donald's land surveyor's office until his passing on November 15, 1976. She was a longtime member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and currently attended services at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ on Tonawanda Creek Road, where niece Suzanne Holderby is the organist.
Dorothy is survived by her son Gary Wayne Budde and niece Suzanne (Ned) Holderby. She was predeceased by her two sisters Gladys Stahler White, Florence L. Greene and brother Frederick W. Ludemann; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday and Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be offered Friday at 1 PM. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Park. Donations to Lockport United Church of Christ, 98 East Ave., Lockport, NY 14094 or to St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 520 Tonawanda Creek Rd., East Amherst, NY 14051 would be appreciated by the family.
