I remember when Joe walked into my GrandMa Panzica’s home on Auburn to pick up his girlfriend for a date. He greeted my Dad and Uncles with a loud roar and a big handshake. As he left with Janet, opening the car door for her, my Mom commented on what a gentleman he was. My first impression was accurate. Aunt Janet did well!!
Joe went through life with the rare combination of energy, confidence, and humility. His ability to light up a room with his smile and the way he made you feel like a king with a big handshake, deep eye contact, and a sincere ‘how are you’ made you know immediately that you were in the presence of greatness. By greatness I mean he was the man that we all wanted to be. A man’s man that married the love of his life and built a wonderful home for his family.
Hero + husband + dad + grandpa + uncle + friend + neighbor + role model = Papa Joe!
Rest In Peace.

Jan & Family, Very sorry for your loss! Joe has the best family- all the great town clerk help (friendly & professional) our family received over the years and he also knew how to pick autos. I got my best used one from him. Wish I still had it- blue 68 chevelle. May your best warm memories of him carry his spirit with you all always. Ward Crafts & family

Thoughts and prayers to the Vullo Family! Papa Joe was an amazing man and it was an honor to have met him. Remember him coming to Florida and going to lunch with Papa Joe and Mike we had a ton of laughs. Then when I was up there and you all tried to kill me with meatballs I do not think I ate that many in one sitting ever before or since.Papa Joe I think you are up there still laughing about that! R.I.P. Papa Joe and condolences to the Entire Vullo Family!!
