Obituary of Rodney P. Stinson

Rodney Pomeroy Stinson passed away on February 11, 2018 in Niagara Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. "Bud" as he was affectionately known as was born on July 17, 1938 in Lockport, NY a son of George and Frances (Pomeroy) Stinson.
Bud was a member of the Elks, Eagles, Olcott Yacht Club and a 55 year member of the Masons. He was a Tool and Die Maker at Harrison Radiator for 48 years retiring in 2005. Since he was a young boy Bud loved spending time at Olcott Beach. Bud also loved music, playing cards and hosting get togethers at the family home.
Bud is survived by his wife of 51 years Doloros (Ruston) Stinson, his children; Michael Stinson, Kevin Stinson, Barbara Stinson, Cheryl Martin, Christina (Jeff) Unger, his sister; Patricia (Ret. Lt. Col. Jerry) Richards, his grandchildren, Crystal, Cody, Casey, Brandon, Allison, Paige, Joshua, Tyler, Jacob, Emma, Julia; his great grandchildren; Chloe and Sophia.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday February 15th from 3-7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Niagara Hospice House 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
