Mary Z. Kubiak passed away January 21, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born August 26, 1929 in Lockport she was the daughter of James and Rose (Liberato) Zinni. Mary worked for 40 years at Fasula, Fetterman, & Buccilli Eye Rx. in Lockport where she was the receptionist. She was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church where she was very active in the Alter & Rosary Society and taught church school for 50 years and also a founding member of the Lockport Womens Bocci League. Mary was predeceased by her husband Donald Kubiak on March 4, 2003. Mary is survived by her children David (Dawn) Kubiak, Rosemary Kubiak, Beth (Gino) Sposito, and Michael (Stacey Pettitt) Kubiak; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and soon to be four; Mary is the sister of Amelia 'Mim' Artieri and the late Theresa DeFilippo, John Zinni, Connie DiRisio, Emma Walker and Helen Cappola; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Jan. 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Friday morning January 26, 2018 at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum. Memorial donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
