Joyce D. Rechtsiegel passed away January 6, 2018 in HighPoint Nursing Home, Buffalo. Born in Buffalo July 25, 1937 she was the daughter of Albert and Ida (Conway) Hyde. Joyce enjoyed playing BINGO, fishing, bowling, crocheting, and knitting. She was predeceased by her husband William Rechtsiegel in 2006.
Joyce is survived by her children William Rechtsiegel, Jr., James (Valerie) Rechtsiegel, and Tammy Rechtsiegel; grandchildren Jennifer, Jill, William III, and Tiffany; five great grandchildren; brothers Albert Hyde, Jr. and late Douglas Hyde.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Jan. 11th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A chapel service will be held Friday, Jan. 12th at 10 AM at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
