Josephine A. Deil was called home to be with her Lord & Savior January 3, 2018 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born January 30, 1920 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Frank and Rose (Porretta) Palisano. Josephine worked at Harrison Radiator for 30 years in production retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Lockport, enjoyed her Friday Night Card Club and especially loved spending time with her family. Josephine was predeceased by her husband, David H. Deil in 1967. Josephine is survived by her children, Judith (late Ray) Dunker, Sandra (David) Few, David (Linda) Deil, and Daniel (Patti) Deil; grandchildren Julie Cuzzacrea, Suzanne Coakley, Michael Few, Keith Dunker, David Dunker, Lisa Deil, and Brendon Deil; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister of late Phillip, Charles, and Joseph Palisano. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Jan. 7th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be held Monday, Jan. 8th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport.
